Walking Electric
The moving walkway consists of an inclined or horizontal moving belt with plastic or metal platforms. Useful belt width ranges from 800 to 1400 mm, designed for a capacity of 4500 to 13000 persons per hour. Standard speeds range from 0.5 to 0.75 m/s, adjustable up to 0.9 m/s. A synchronous electric motor 7.5 to 30 kW and helical gearbox with 95% efficiency provide the driving force. Standard inclination angles are 0 to 12 degrees, with automatic adjustment capability for building integration. The system is certified per safety standards EN 115 and ASME A17.1 for general and airport applications.
The structure features aluminum or steel platforms with anti-slip coating, UV resistance, and IP54 moisture protection. Moving handrails synchronize with belt speed, made of antibacterial polyurethane with hand presence detection sensors. A dual electromagnetic braking system stops the walkway within 2 seconds, with entrapment detection sensors at entry/exit points. Uniform LED lighting provides 200 lux illumination along the path, with warning lights at transition zones. The frame is hot-dip galvanized steel with epoxy coating for corrosion resistance in humid environments. A central PLC-based controller offers real-time monitoring, fault diagnostics, and Building Management System BM
