The pan head self-drilling screw is an integrated fastener with a drill tip for simultaneous drilling and fastening into metal and sheets. Diameter ranges from 3 to 8 mm, with lengths between 12 and 150 mm. Made from carbon steel with heat treatment or stainless steel A2/A4, tensile strength ranges from 500–800 MPa. The rounded pan head, with DIN 7504 standard and Phillips or hex drive, allows rapid installation using manual or power tools. Surface coating with galvanization or paint increases corrosion and wear resistance.
The drill tip, angled 60–90 degrees, enables drilling without pre-holes. Threads are precisely designed for secure connections in steel sheets from 0.5 to 6 mm.
