Stainless Steel Shackle
A stainless steel shackle is a mechanical connector made of 304 or 316 stainless steel, used for connecting cables, wire ropes, and chains in corrosive or marine environments. Load capacity ranges from 0.3 to 15 tons depending on body and pin diameter. Body diameter ranges from 6 to 40 mm, and pin diameter ranges from 5 to 35 mm. The surface is corrosion, oxidation, and wear resistant, with operating temperature from -40 to 200°C. Steel hardness is 35–45 HRC, and shear strength exceeds 90 percent of rated load.
Structurally, it consists of a U-shaped body and screw or locking pin for easy installation and removal.
