rotary slide valve
Station valves are manufactured from ASTM A105 carbon steel or ASTM A182 F316 alloy steel. They are designed for working pressures up to 100 bar and temperatures from -29 to 425°C. Their nominal diameter DN ranges from 50 to 300 mm. Valves feature flanged connections per ASME B16.5 Class 150 to 600. Gate or ball design manages fluid flow with minimal pressure drop. The flow coefficient Cv ranges from 200 to 10,000 depending on size. Tight shut-off is guaranteed by Stellite or polymer seats with a lifespan exceeding 10,000 cycles.
Their structure includes a monolithic body, replaceable seats, and a threaded stem. The stem is made from nitrided stainless steel for wear resistance. Bronze or graphite stem bushings manage friction reduction. Valves are supplied with manual gear operators or pneumatic/electric actuators. Standard tests include a body hydrostatic test at 1.5 times working pressure. These valves are manufactured and tested per API 6D and ISO 17292 for full safety. Their installation is critical in pressure reduction stations within oil and gas pipelines.
