Rossi R Series worm gearbox
The Rossi R Series worm gearbox is a high-efficiency, compact transmission unit designed for power transfer in limited industrial spaces. It combines a hardened steel worm shaft with a bronze wheel, capable of transmitting torque up to approximately 1800 Nm. The reduction ratio in this series ranges from 7 to 100, providing smooth and vibration-free output. The main housing is made of die-cast aluminum alloy or EN-GJL200 cast iron, ensuring lightweight construction and high mechanical strength. Its finned surface enables effective natural cooling for continuous operation.
Internally, the Rossi R Series gearbox uses deep-groove ball bearings and NBR rubber seals to prevent oil leakage and dust ingress. The operational efficiency under nominal load is between 85 and 92 percent, with options for foot or flange mounting. The output shaft diameter ranges from 25 to 80 mm, and it can be coupled with IEC standard electric motors up to 15 kW. The operating temperature range is from -20 to +80 degrees Celsius, and the gearbox is certified under CE and ISO 9001 industrial quality and safety standards.
