The SITI continuously variable transmission CVT gearbox, featuring advanced mechanical design, operates to adjust speed over a wide range without discrete steps. The system consists of two internal rings compressed together by Belleville washers. These rings are connected to the motor shaft and interact with two external planetary rings attached to the frame. Satellite gears mesh with both the internal rings and the external planetary rings, producing a dual motion: rotation around their own axis and movement around the planetary rings. This structure enables torque transmission through friction. The transmission ratio can be adjusted manually using a handle that changes the angle of the external planetary ring. This design allows for a transmission ratio range of 1:5.
