Mahab flanged butterfly valve
The Mahab flanged butterfly valve features a ductile iron GGG40 body and an AISI 304 stainless steel disc, providing excellent mechanical and chemical resistance in fluid transmission systems. Its nominal diameter ranges from 80 to 2000 millimeters, with a pressure rating of PN10 to PN16. An electrostatic epoxy coating with an average thickness of 250 microns is applied on both internal and external surfaces, ensuring high corrosion and abrasion resistance. The EPDM rubber seat with a temperature tolerance up to 120°C guarantees zero leakage performance.
The Mahab flanged butterfly valve is available with lever, gearbox, electric, or pneumatic actuators and can be installed in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The central shaft is machined with ±0.2 mm precision to minimize operating torque. Flanges are designed according to EN 1092-2 standard, and hydrostatic testing is performed at 24 bar. The valve weighs approximately 48 kg at 300 mm diameter, and its aerodynamic disc design ensures minimal pressure loss in the fluid flow.
