Mahab drain valve
The Mahab drain valve features a ductile iron GGG40 body with an electrostatic epoxy coating, ensuring resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and high pressure. It is manufactured in nominal diameters from 100 to 1600 millimeters, with a working pressure of up to 16 bar. The gate is made of stainless steel AISI 304 with EPDM or NBR rubber sealing, providing complete sealing under variable pressure conditions. The valve can be operated manually, via gearbox, or with electric actuators. The flanged design complies with EN 1092-2 standard, and the maximum operating temperature is 80°C.
The Mahab drain valve is designed for discharging water, sludge, or suspended solids from tanks, basins, and pipelines. All moving components are machined with ±0.3 mm precision to ensure smooth, vibration-free operation. Hydrostatic testing is performed at 1.5 times the nominal pressure, with allowable leakage below 0.1% of rated flow. The 600 mm model weighs approximately 120 kg. A 250-micron powder epoxy coating provides durability exceeding 20 years. This valve is widely used in water, wastewater, power plant, and treatment facility applications.
