Mahab cast iron strainer valve
The Mahab cast iron strainer valve is made of ductile iron GGG40 with internal and external epoxy coating, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and sediment buildup. It is available in nominal diameters from 50 to 600 millimeters, with a working pressure of up to 16 bar. The internal screen is manufactured from stainless steel 304 with perforations ranging from 0.8 to 3 millimeters for efficient solid particle separation. The threaded access cover with EPDM sealing allows easy draining and cleaning. Flanged ends comply with EN 1092-2 standard, and the valve weighs approximately 36 kg at 200 mm size.
The Mahab cast iron strainer valve is suitable for installation in water, wastewater, chemical, and pumping systems. Hydrostatic testing is performed at 24 bar and leakage testing at 17.6 bar. The 250-micron powder epoxy coating ensures a service life of more than 20 years. The Y-shaped body design minimizes pressure drop across the flow. An ergonomic access cover and replaceable screen simplify maintenance and servicing operations.
