Mahab cast iron ring
The Mahab cast iron ring is made of ductile iron GGG40 or gray cast iron GG25 with an electrostatic epoxy coating, used as a connecting and reinforcing component in pipeline systems. These rings are manufactured in nominal diameters from 80 to 2000 millimeters with thicknesses suitable for PN10 to PN25 pressure classes. Both internal and external surfaces are coated with a 250-micron powder epoxy layer to ensure high resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and moisture. Dimensional tolerances comply with ISO 8062-3, and machining precision is maintained within ±0.2 millimeters.
The Mahab cast iron ring is used for connections between flanges, valves, and mechanical joints in water supply and wastewater systems. Each ring is hydrostatically tested at 1.5 times the nominal pressure, with allowable leakage below 0.05% of rated flow. The 300 mm ring weighs approximately 9 kg. Its precise engineering design and durable material provide a service life exceeding 25 years. All manufacturing and testing processes comply with EN 1563 and ISO 2531 standards, making it suitable for industrial, power plant, and underground installations.
