Mahab cast iron check valve
The Mahab cast iron check valve is constructed with a ductile iron GGG40 body and internal and external epoxy coating for superior corrosion and pressure resistance. It is available in nominal diameters from 50 to 800 millimeters, with a pressure rating of PN10 to PN16. The disc is made of AISI 304 stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant shaft, and NBR rubber sealing ensures zero leakage performance. The flanged ends are designed according to EN 1092-2 standard, and the valve can operate at temperatures up to 80°C. Its swing-type disc design provides smooth, noise-free opening and closing.
Paragraph 2:
The Mahab cast iron check valve is used to prevent reverse flow in water, wastewater, and industrial piping systems. Hydrostatic testing is performed at 24 bar, and leakage testing at 17.6 bar. The machined seat with ±0.2 mm precision ensures perfect sealing under variable pressure conditions. A 250-micron powder epoxy coating increases service life and wear resistance. The valve weighs approximately 55 kg at 300 mm size, and its hydrodynamic body design minimizes pressure drop across the flow.
