Komatsu D85 bulldozer exhaust
The Komatsu D85 bulldozer exhaust is designed to channel engine gases efficiently while reducing noise and vibration in heavy-duty environments. The main body is constructed from heat-resistant alloy steel with an Fe-Cr-Mo composition, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 680°C. The shell thickness ranges from 2 to 2.5 mm, coated with a high-temperature silicone-based paint for corrosion and oxidation resistance. The total exhaust length is approximately 900 mm, with an outlet diameter of 110 mm. Its three-stage internal design minimizes back pressure and enhances combustion efficiency.
The Komatsu D85 bulldozer exhaust features a multi-layer structure with 10 mm compressed rock wool insulation to prevent heat transfer to the outer shell. The connection flange is made of 8 mm thick steel with a graphite sealing gasket. It offers vibration resistance up to 150 Hz and corrosion endurance tested for 900 salt spray hours. The total exhaust weight is around 10.5 kg, designed for direct installation onto the engine manifold. This construction increases durability, reduces noise, and optimizes engine performance under demanding working conditions.
