The KNAUF Acoustic Gboard is a specialized gypsum panel designed for sound absorption and noise reduction in residential, commercial, and sound-sensitive environments. Its gypsum core is enhanced with acoustic additives, and the surface includes micro perforated patterns engineered to improve sound absorption. The panel thickness is 12.5 mm, width is 1200 mm, and length ranges from 2000 to 3000 mm. It provides a Noise Reduction Coefficient NRC of approximately 0.50 to 0.75, effectively reducing echo and transmitted noise.
The Acoustic Gboard features a medium density of 850–1050 kg/m³ and can be mounted easily using standard drywall screws or KNAUF framing systems.
