German BOMAG Roller
The German BOMAG roller is an industrial compaction machine designed and manufactured according to European engineering standards. The main frame is made of structural steel with high fatigue resistance. The compaction drum is produced from hardened alloy steel with an engineered diameter. Drum width varies by model between 700 and 1200 millimeters. Operating weight ranges from 100 to over 2500 kilograms in manual and powered models. The bearing system uses multi layer sealing. This structure reduces wear and extends machine service life.
From a functional standpoint, the BOMAG roller is used for compacting asphalt, granular soils, and construction subgrades. Compaction force is applied through a combination of static weight and dynamic vibration. The vibration system with controlled frequency ensures uniform compaction. Engines in powered models are selected as fuel efficient diesel or gasoline types. Ergonomic handle or operator cabin design reduces user fatigue. These features improve accuracy and productivity in construction projects.
