Gboard MR moisture resistant gypsum panel
The Gboard MR moisture resistant gypsum board is a reinforced panel with a water-repellent gypsum core designed for semi-humid environments such as kitchens, washrooms, and light industrial spaces. It features a standard thickness of 12.5 mm, dimensions of 120×240 cm, and an approximate weight of 10 to 10.5 kg/m². The core is formulated with hydrophobic resins and reinforcing fibers, limiting moisture absorption to below 10 percent. A green water-resistant paper facing protects the panel against ambient humidity and steam, while providing an ideal surface for stable joint treatment.
The MR board can be installed on metal or wooden framing and is suitable for areas exposed to intermittent moisture. Its enhanced mechanical strength reduces cracking and improves long-term durability. The board supports the application of tiles, paint, epoxy coatings, and PVC panels with high adhesion performance. Thermal resistance, dimensional stability, and compliance with EN 520 type H1 make the Gboard MR a reliable choice for residential and commercial projects in humid regions.
