Crosby Clips
The Crosby wire rope clamp is a high-strength steel component used to securely connect wire ropes in lifting, crane, and load securing systems. The body is made from alloy steel with heat treatment and high surface hardness, providing tensile capacity from 1 to 50 tons. Galvanized or industrial anti-rust coating ensures corrosion and moisture resistance. The design complies with international Crosby, DIN, and ISO standards, with a safety factor typically 5 times the working load.
Structurally, the clamp consists of two U-shaped halves and a high-strength steel bolt with locking nut. Dimensions vary according to wire rope diameters between 6 and 50 millimeters, enabling quick and secure installation. The clamp ensures uniform load distribution and prevents rope slippage. Widely used in overhead cranes, mobile cranes, elevators, and industrial load securing systems, Crosby clamps provide long service life.
