Shell and tube heat exchangers are manufactured to TEMA Class R design standards. Tube material is typically Grade 2 titanium or 316L stainless steel alloy. Tube diameters range from 15.87 to 25.4 mm with wall thicknesses of 1.2 to 2.1 mm. Effective heat transfer surface area can be designed from 10 to 1000 square meters. The overall heat transfer coefficient U ranges from 250 to 1500 W/m²·K. Standard design pressure for shell and tube sides are 25 bar and 40 bar respectively.
The structure includes tube bundles with triangular or square pitch arrangement at 1.25 times tube diameter. Tube sheets are made from carbon steel with clad coating. Segmental baffles are installed at 0.2 to 0.5 of the shell diameter spacing. These baffles increase fluid velocity up to 2 meters per second. Sealing gaskets use expanded graphite material tolerating 400 degrees Celsius. Hydrostatic testing is performed at 1.5 times the design pressure. You can order and buy compressor from Iran by contacting us through whatsaap and email.

Operating Principles of a Heat Exchanger
A heat exchanger operates by transferring thermal energy between two fluids without direct contact. This transfer occurs through a solid interface surface typically metal tubes or plates. The hot fluid transfers its energy to the wall by flowing along one side of the interface surface. This energy is then transferred through conduction within the solid wall to the other side. Finally, the cooler fluid absorbs the energy and heats up by contacting the other side of the interface surface. The fluid flow can be designed as co-current, counter-current, or cross-flow, which affects efficiency. This process enables heat exchange without physical mixing of the fluids. Optimal design is calculated based on flow rate, temperature difference, and physical properties of the fluids.
