The HSCO BS1012 deburring blade is manufactured from cobalt alloyed high speed steel with an approximate cobalt content of 5 to 8 percent. This alloy provides uniform hardness in the range of 64 to 67 HRC. The blade cutting geometry is designed with a nominal angle of 58 degrees. This angle is suitable for controlled removal of fine burrs. The effective blade length is approximately 42 millimeters, with a thickness close to 3.0 millimeters. These dimensions provide an optimal balance between flexibility and bending strength. The blade is suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys. Edge grinding accuracy is controlled below 0.01 millimeters.
Structurally, the HSCO BS1012 deburring blade features a double sided cutting edge with a wear resistant design. This structure enables extended service life. Heat treatment is performed in multiple stages to ensure microstructural stability. The blade surface is finished with an average roughness of Ra 0.38 microns. This finish reduces chip friction. The blade is manufactured in accordance with the BS1012 dimensional standard and is compatible with most industrial deburring handles. Thermal resistance is maintained up to approximately 650 degrees Celsius.
