Vortex Hydraulic Clamp Model VA

The Vertex hydraulic vise model VA features an effective jaw opening of 200 mm and a jaw width of 175 mm, designed for holding large and precise workpieces. Its hydraulic system can apply up to 30 kN of clamping force, making it suitable for machining hard materials with high resistance. The jaws are made from hardened alloy steel with a surface hardness rating of HRC 58 to 62, providing excellent wear resistance. The movable jaw travel can be adjusted up to 200 mm, and the repeatability accuracy is approximately ±0.01 mm. The body is made from EN-GJS-600-3 grade ductile cast iron, offering strong mechanical and thermal stability.

The overall dimensions of the Vertex VA vise are approximately 500×220×150 mm, and its weight ranges between 24 to 27 kg. The quick-locking mechanism operates via a lever or foot pedal, enhancing productivity on the production line. An internal pressure adjustment valve allows the user to fine-tune the clamping force based on the material. The seals and O-rings are made of NBR, providing resistance to oil and temperatures up to 100°C. This vise is ideal for milling machines, CNC systems, and high-precision machining centers, delivering stable performance under continuous operating conditions.
