The Yilmaz planetary gearbox series V is a compact and high-torque power transmission unit engineered for precision industrial applications. It is directly coupled with an IEC electric motor and standard flange, providing mechanical efficiency between 94 and 98 percent. The output torque ranges from 150 to 18,000 Nm, with input power up to 75 kW. Planetary gears are made from hardened alloy steel with DIN 5 accuracy, supported by SKF roller bearings. The housing is manufactured from aluminum for smaller sizes and ductile cast iron for heavy-duty models.

The multi-stage design of the Yilmaz V gearbox allows a reduction ratio up to 1:2500 in triple-stage configurations. Operating temperature range is from −20°C to +50°C, and the IP65 protection class ensures resistance against dust and moisture. Both horizontal and vertical mounting with EN ISO 9409 standard flange are supported. The lubrication system uses synthetic oil ISO VG320 in an immersion setup.
