The YILMAZ P Series planetary gearbox is a high-efficiency power transmission unit with a mechanical efficiency of 95 to 98 percent. It utilizes a modular planetary design where multiple sun and planet gears distribute torque evenly. Output torque ranges from 1,000 to 120,000 Nm, while input power supports up to 160 kW. The gears are manufactured from alloy steel 18CrNiMo7-6, hardened to 60 HRC, and ground to DIN 5 precision standards. This ensures stable operation under heavy load and continuous duty cycles.

The gearbox housing is made of ductile cast iron EN-GJS-500, providing high compressive strength and effective vibration damping. The bearing system includes SKF tapered roller bearings capable of handling both radial and axial loads. The operating temperature range is −20°C to +50°C, with IP65 protection against dust and moisture. It supports horizontal, vertical, and flange mounting configurations, and uses synthetic ISO VG320 oil for lubrication.
