Rossi MR Series worm gearbox

The Rossi MR Series worm gearbox, made in Italy, is a highly reliable unit designed for precise and continuous power transmission applications. It combines a hardened steel worm shaft with a tin-bronze gear wheel, ensuring superior mechanical efficiency. The output torque reaches up to approximately 3000 Nm, and the reduction ratio ranges from 5 to 100 depending on the configuration. The housing is made of die-cast aluminum for smaller sizes and G250 grey cast iron for larger units. A permanent synthetic lubrication system using ISO VG 320 oil minimizes friction and increases durability during long-term operation.

The MR Series features reinforced bearings and dual sealing elements to prevent oil leakage and extend operational lifespan. It supports horizontal, vertical, and flange-mounted installations and is compatible with IEC electric motors up to 22 kW. The working efficiency ranges from 86 to 93 percent, with a noise level below 70 dB under nominal load. The operating temperature range is from -25 to +90 degrees Celsius, and the gearbox complies with CE and ISO 9001 standards for industrial safety and manufacturing quality.
