The Bonfiglioli TA parallel shaft gearbox is a heavy-duty industrial unit with a multi-stage design optimized for high power transmission in compact installations. It features a parallel shaft configuration with case-hardened helical gears made of 18CrNiMo7-6 alloy steel, ground to DIN 6 accuracy. The output torque range is between 600 and 12,000 newton-meters, with gear ratios from 7 to 400. The housing is constructed from ribbed ductile cast iron for increased strength and thermal dissipation. Mechanical efficiency exceeds 96 percent, and tapered roller bearings operate with oil bath lubrication using ISO VG 220 lubricant.

The Bonfiglioli TA gearbox incorporates a multilayer sealing system to prevent oil leakage under heavy-duty conditions. The operating temperature range is from minus 25 to plus 120 degrees Celsius, remaining stable up to 150 degrees with synthetic oil.
