Ferrodo woven brake lining is manufactured using a warp-and-weft structure composed of high-strength fibers such as fiberglass, aramid, and bronze wire. This specific blend enhances both flexibility and mechanical strength. The average density of the lining is approximately 1.95 g/cm³, with thickness ranging from 8 to 16 millimeters. Its coefficient of friction falls between 0.38 and 0.46, ensuring consistent performance across varying speeds. Wear rate is less than 0.07 millimeters per 1000 kilometers, and it maintains thermal stability up to 480 degrees Celsius under operational loads.

The compressive strength of this lining is measured up to 26 MPa, and its surface hardness ranges from 65 to 78 Rockwell C. The spiral-woven design evenly distributes stress during braking. These linings can endure dynamic forces up to 1600 newtons and are ideal for heavy-duty industrial brake systems. Due to their flexible structure, they are easy to install on clutches and cylindrical drums. In durability tests, the lining successfully completed over 85,000 braking cycles without loss of performance.
