The 1026BT engine bearing is made of a tri-metal alloy consisting of a steel backing, copper-lead intermediate layer, and babbitt overlay, providing high resistance to pressure and wear. The total thickness is 2.3 mm with an inner diameter of 72 mm. The inner surface is machined to ±0.01 mm precision, ensuring uniform lubrication and a friction coefficient as low as 0.08. The bearing can withstand dynamic pressures up to 110 MPa and maintains stable operation between 80 and 120°C.

The internal oil grooves of the 1026BT engine bearing are designed to distribute oil evenly at a flow rate of 6 L/min. Each half-bearing weighs approximately 180 g and has a surface hardness of 95 Brinell.
