The Gboard ceiling gypsum panel is manufactured with a lightweight core offering an approximate density of 620 to 720 kilograms per cubic meter to reduce ceiling dead load. It is commonly produced in 9.5 or 12.5 millimeter thicknesses and in dimensions of 1200 by 2400 millimeters. The panel’s longitudinal bending strength ranges from 350 to 480 newtons, providing adequate stability for suspended ceiling systems. Its high grammage facing paper ensures strong adhesion for paint and joint compound and minimizes vibration induced cracking. This panel is compatible with F47 metal ceiling frames and allows fast and low vibration installation.
The Gboard ceiling gypsum board offers a thermal conductivity of about 0.24 watts per meter kelvin and enhances thermal performance in ceiling assemblies. Its surface weight ranges from 7 to 10 kilograms per square meter, keeping grid loading within safe limits. Screw pull out resistance is approximately 230 to 280 newtons, preventing long term screw loosening. Recommended spacing for F47 profiles is 40 centimeters to avoid mid span sagging. The product is manufactured according to EN 520 type A and is ideal for residential and office interiors.

Installing Gboard gypsum ceiling panels requires adherence to technical standards to achieve a smooth and durable finish. The galvanized framing system, including CD and UD profiles, is first leveled and fixed with a standard spacing of 40 to 60 centimeters to prevent ceiling sagging. Panels are then positioned perpendicular to the profiles and secured using 25 mm screws spaced 15 to 20 centimeters apart. Panel joints are covered with tape and joint compound to create a crack-free surface ready for paint or final finishing. When cutting the panels, using a proper utility knife and minimizing dust generation are essential. Controlling humidity, ensuring accurate leveling, and selecting the appropriate panel thickness are key factors influencing final ceiling quality.
