Elevator guide rails are manufactured from low-carbon steel grade Q235B or KP80 per GB/T 700 and JIS A 5505 standards. The standard profile is an inverted T-shape with dimensional accuracy of ±0.3 mm and angular tolerance of ±0.5 degrees. Rail lengths are 5 meters connectable up to 20 meters with linear weight of 10 to 45 kg per meter. Surface hardness is maintained at 130–170 Brinell HB for wear resistance and deformation prevention. These rails undergo stress-relief heat treatment at 550°C to prevent deformation from residual stresses.

Hot-dip galvanized coating 75 microns or 65-micron catalytic epoxy coating is provided for high-humidity environments. Rails are designed to withstand dynamic loads up to 200% of rated load and vertical speeds up to 12 m/s. Elevator guide rail installation follows the EN 81-20:2020 and ASME A17.1 standards. Rails are made from steel grade AISI 1045 or equivalent with a minimum tensile strength of 520 MPa. Support brackets must be installed every 2.5 meters maximum using grade 8.8 or higher bolts. Perfect plumb of the rail in both axes is verified using a laser or heavy plumb bob. Parallel spacing between rails along the entire length must be maintained with a ±2 mm tolerance. Rail connections are made using fishplates with at least 4 bolts on each side. Safety clearance from the rail to the shaft wall follows engineering calculations and is at least 50 mm. Final testing with the car moving under 125% of rated load is mandatory to ensure no vibration. All installation stages must be performed by certified installers under the supervision of a supervising engineer.
