The SEW R47 series direct shaft gearbox features a helical design with a direct shaft, enabling high torque transmission with minimal slippage and energy consumption. Gear ratios in this series range from 3.18 to 290, and the maximum output torque reaches 20,000 Nm. The output shaft diameter varies between 20 and 120 mm, and the allowable input speed is designed up to 3,000 RPM. The helical teeth reduce operational noise and increase efficiency to over 95%, while allowing continuous operation in industrial environments with temperatures from 0 to 40°C.

R47 models are available with motor powers from 0.12 to 90 kW and can be mounted either flange or foot-mounted. The housing is made of durable cast steel or aluminum alloy. These gearboxes have an IP55 protection rating and an F thermal class, and maintenance is simplified through standard lubricant replacement. The use of wear-resistant bearings and industrial-grade oils extends service life up to 50,000 operating hours, making them suitable for conveyors, pumps, fans, and automotive industry applications.
