The Bonfiglioli VF/W helical-worm gearbox features a gear ratio ranging from 7 to 100 and can transmit torque from 50 to 6000 Nm. The allowable input speed reaches up to 3000 rpm, while the average transmission efficiency ranges between 91 and 95 percent. The housing is made of high-strength aluminum alloy or ductile cast iron, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress. The output shaft can be selected as either hollow or solid, with radial and axial load capacities calculated according to ISO 6336 standards. The gearbox is continuously lubricated using recommended industrial lubricants and can operate in ambient temperatures from -20 to 40 °C.

The VF/W gearbox is equipped with an optimized cooling system and precisely CNC-machined gear profiles, reducing noise levels to 68 dB. Its modular design allows direct mounting of standard IEC motors, and flexible couplings ensure stable performance. The gearbox weight varies from 15 to 950 kg depending on size and gear ratio, and the output shaft can withstand shock loads up to 150 percent of the nominal torque.
