Chain block G80 chain

Two different grades of chains are used on chain blocks that are used for lifting purposes. the hand chain that is pulled by hand is used with lower grades and usually as galvanized with zinc coated surface. this grade of chain has lower levels of carbon and under goes very mild load. on the other hand there is one more chain that is usually used as surface phosphate and in dull black color which is attached at the bottom to a hook and is used for connecting and lifting the load. G80 chain is the most common industrial grade of chain and is produced by hot forging and under goes a heating process in order to increase the tensile strength and surface hardness..
