The complete cabin of a Komatsu excavator is constructed from ST52 steel sheets with thicknesses of 3 to 5 millimeters to resist operational pressure, impacts, and vibrations. Cabin dimensions are typically 2.2 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, and 2.3 meters high, with a total weight including equipment of 450 to 650 kilograms. The structure includes reinforced pillars, a slip-resistant roof, and 8-millimeter tempered glass to ensure operator safety against falling objects and heavy vibrations.
Internal wiring uses heat-resistant 105°C, 24V DC cables. The cabin features control switches, pressure and temperature displays, ventilation system, adjustable hydraulic seat, and multi-axis control levers. Installation of electronic equipment follows ISO 13766 standards, and hydraulic and electrical functional tests are performed before delivery to ensure full safety and operational efficiency.
