The main engine speed sensor 6-7-200 is made of stainless steel with a heat-resistant plastic coating, capable of measuring engine speed up to 8000 RPM. The sensor length is 60 millimeters and its diameter is 15 millimeters. It is an inductive type sensor with a sensitivity of 0.5 millivolts per RPM. The installation gap from the engine flywheel is adjusted between 0.8 and 1.2 millimeters to ensure the most accurate shaft signal. The operating temperature range is -40 to 150°C, and the operating voltage is 5 to 12 volts DC.
The sensor connection cable is made of heat-resistant silicone insulation and has a standard length of 300 millimeters. The sensor resistance is controlled between 950 and 1050 ohms, with electromagnetic noise less than 2% of the output voltage. It undergoes dynamic performance testing, vibration, and mechanical shock tests according to ISO 16750. All internal components are coated against corrosion and moisture to enhance service life and operational accuracy.
