Lombardini engine components, including pistons, bushings, bearings, camshafts, and complete gaskets, are manufactured from alloy steel and aerospace-grade aluminum to withstand combustion pressures up to 135 bar. Piston and bushing surfaces are induction-hardened to 55–60 Rockwell C, enhancing wear and fatigue resistance. Bearing tolerances are below 0.01 millimeters, and precise camshaft installation ensures smooth operation and reduced system vibration. Gaskets are made from multilayer steel with copper and nickel coating to provide complete sealing and prevent oil and coolant leakage.

The weight of each Lombardini engine component set ranges from 3 to 28 kilograms depending on engine model, with assembly using grade 10.9 bolts. Operating temperature ranges from minus 40 to plus 250 degrees Celsius, and bearing lubrication is provided with standard engine oil to reduce friction and wear. The estimated service life under standard operating conditions exceeds 13000 hours, with design optimized using CAD software and FEA analysis to ensure engine performance under heavy-duty conditions.
