The accumulators used in die-casting machines are typically selected from well-known European brands such as Germanys Hydac and Americas Parker, which comply with CE and DIN EN standards. These accumulators are usually bladder or piston-type and are capable of withstanding working pressures between 250 and 350 bar. The selected capacity, generally ranging from 10 to 50 liters, is matched to the hydraulic requirements of the machine, allowing them to respond to instantaneous pressure changes during molten metal injection.

The accumulator is usually installed on the hydraulic manifold, close to the main pump, in the die-casting system to prevent pressure fluctuations and cavitation. For medium-sized machines with an injection capacity of 400 to 600 tons, a 20-liter accumulator is used, while for larger machines with a capacity exceeding 1000 tons, a 40 to 50-liter accumulator is typically installed. Proper selection of capacity and brand enhances injection accuracy, reduces wear and tear, and extends the operational lifespan of the machine.
