Installing and Adjusting a Tabletop Antenna
To install a tabletop antenna, first choose a suitable location with minimal obstructions between the antenna and the transmission tower. Connect the coaxial cable to the ANT IN port of your TV or receiver. Place the antenna on a flat, stable surface and extend the radiating elements rods according to the manual. Point the antenna towards the nearest broadcast signal tower. Use your TVs Auto Scan menu to search for available channels. If reception is poor, gently adjust the antennas angle and height to maximize signal strength. Use a signal booster only if truly necessary and for very long distances. Check cable connections for cracks or insulation damage. For digital TVs, select the "Digital" or "DTV" option in the settings menu. In remote areas, a high-gain antenna may be required.
