A flat spring is an elastic element with a rectangular cross section manufactured from alloy steel with a tensile strength of about 1500 to 2100 MPa. The spring is designed with a thickness between 0.2 and 20 millimeters and a width of 5 to 120 millimeters to generate controlled deformation. The manufacturing process includes cold rolling, heat treatment, and edge grinding to improve dimensional stability and fatigue resistance. With an elastic modulus of approximately 210 GPa, the flat spring delivers accurate and stable performance under dynamic loading conditions.

A flat spring is engineered to absorb vibration and transfer force in industrial systems and can withstand bending stresses up to about 1000 MPa. The spring is manufactured with a longitudinal tolerance of less than 0.1 millimeters to maintain precision in mechanical assemblies. Its surface is protected with phosphate or galvanized coating to increase corrosion resistance. The geometric design of the flat spring enables stiffness adjustment in the range of 10 to 500 newtons per millimeter.
