Open end timing belt has the exact mechanical specification of usual timing belts, the only difference is that they are not in round endless-shape and are meant to be cut in customized length and be attached on the end using some heat process. Open-end timing belts are produced using rubber or PU and have an extra layer of poly amide on the surface to increase tthe abrasion resistance. there are many different manufacturers of open-end timing belts in the world.
