This stainless steel pump, manufactured as a three-phase unit with a maximum power of 2 horsepower, is used for transferring fluids with moderate corrosiveness at high volumes and flow rates. The electric motor connected to the stainless steel 304 pump by DAYTON is either of NEMA type with an IEC frame and operates on DC power at a voltage of 208-230/460 volts.

This series of stainless steel pumps has a maximum suction lift of 7.6 meters. From a fluid mechanics perspective, the maximum suction capability for the most powerful pump at sea level is 10 meters, with a maximum discharge head H of 68 feet. Since this stainless steel pump is centrifugal, the highest head is achieved at the lowest flow rate, which in this case is 24 gallons per minute GPM.

Naturally, at lower pumping heights, the volumetric capacity of the stainless steel grade 304 pump increases, reaching a flow rate of 130 GPM at the minimum head of 5 feet. Mechanical seals made of carbon or stainless steel minimize leakage in this pump series. The inlet valve is threaded and flange-free with a 1 1/2 inch size, allowing for high suction and discharge flow rates.

Due to its considerable flow rate and stainless steel construction, which minimizes chemical reactions with liquids, this pump is widely used in food industry plants.
